Vijay Mandal: one of the prime accused
New Delhi: Aarushi Talwar, the deceased teenager in the infamous Noida double murder case, was allegedly molested by Vijay Mandal before being murdered, highly placed sources in FSL told Headlines India exclusively. Vijay Mandal is one of the three prime suspects of the twin murders that shocked the entire country a few months back.

"Vijay Mandal is the prime eyewitness of Aarushi's murder as he was there when the crime was committed by Krishna and Rajkumar Sharma. They possibly sexually assaulted Aarushi before killing her. Proper samples could not be collected from the scene of crime because evidence had been badly tampered with. Maybe Vijay Mandal was involved in this," the source told Headlines India.

Mandal was the domestic help of Puneesh Roy Tandon, a neighbour of Aarushi's father Rajesh Talwar. He was arrested by the CBI on July 11 after the investigating agency conducted Psychological Assessment Test, Polygraph Test and Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature Profiling at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Mumbai. However, he managed to obtain bail from a Ghaziabad Court on September 4, after the CBI failed to produce any conclusive evidence against him. Krishna and Raj Kumar were also granted bail on similar grounds by the same court on September 12.

Aarushi Talwar was found murdered in her Noida Sector 25 Jal Vayu Vihar residence on May 16 and on May 17, Talwar's help Hemraj was found killed on the terrace of the building. Rajesh Talwar was arrested a week later, but on July 11, the CBI gave a clean chit to him. After its failure to trace the murder weapon and the mobile phones of Aarushi and Hemraj, the CBI has declared a reward of Rs1,00,000 for anybody leading it to the crucial pieces of evidence.
