New Delhi: Ten Sports today agreed to share the live feed of the remaining two one-day international cricket matches between India and Sri Lanka with public broadcaster Doordarshan.

The sports broadcaster gave an undertaking to this effect to a Delhi High Court bench comprising Justice Manmohan Sarin and Justice Veena Birbal.

"We are happy to know that Ten Sports would share signal to enable live telecast of Indo-Sri Lanka ODI's matches which are to be played today and on August 29," the Bench said after recording the undertaking given by Ten Sports.

The Court also said that in view of time constraints, advertisement booking for the two matches will be done by DD which would share the revenue in the proportion of 75:25 (75 per cent for Ten Sports and 25 per cent for DD).

It also took strong exception to the Centre delaying issuance of show-cause notice to Ten Sports for sharing the feed.

The matter came to the court's notice after a cricket buff Ravi Dev Gupta sought directions from it for showing the matches on Doordarshan. (PTI)
