A sumptuous spread by Bhojohori Manna

The oldest, and perhaps the most popular Bengali restaurant in Kolkata, Bhojohori Manna appealed to us with its old-world charm along with mouth-watering food. We visited Bhojohori Manna's Salt Lake Sector V branch, and were speechless after we saw the wide array of food being offered by the restaurant during Durga Puja. Siddharth Banerjee, Executive Restaurant Manager of Bhojohori Manna guided us through the Durga Puja menu, and when we came out of the restaurant, the warmth and hospitality of the restaurant staff, and the wide variety of yummy food offered at very pocket friendly prices had made this restaurant top our list.

Pamper your tastebuds this Puja with Bhojohori Manna

The restaurant is offering buffet spread for Durga Puja, with some of the special non-vegetarian dishes including Jumbo Ilish Barishali, Mutton Goalondo Steamer Curry, Muri Ghonto, Jumbo Chingri Malai Curry, Kosha Mangsho, Bhetki Paturi, Bagda Chingri Malai Curry, Mutton Dakbangla, Mocha Chingri, Jumbo Ilish Bhapa and Mutton Korma. The vegetarians need not lose heart, as the restaurant has an equally extensive range for the vegetarians. Some of the special vegetarian dishes offered by the restaurant include Bhaja Moongdal Karaishuti Diye, Potol Bhaja, Jhinge Alu Posto, Mochar Ghonto, Pulkopir Kalia, Panch Meshali Chochori, Potoler Dolma Narkel Shorshe Posto, Chhanar Dalna, Phulkopir Roast, Chholar Daal Narkel Kishmish Diye, Kashmiri Alu Dom, Dhokar Dalna and Chhanar Kofta besides the regular Polao, Ghee Bhaat and Steamed Rice. The range of desserts offered by Bhojohori Manna is also as wide as the main course. On spread this season are Mango Rasmalai, Mango Malai Chamcham, Mishti Doi, Rajbhog and Aam Doi, besides a Mishti Paan for all customers.
