New Delhi: The Indian Air Force's aim is to set Aerospace as the national power, Air Chief Marshal Fali Homi Major today said while speaking on 'Indian Air Force as the Aerospace Power'. He was speaking in a function at United Service Institution of India Auditorium in New Delhi.
Major also said,"Our aim is to built national awareness about Aerospace." Adding,"We want to incorporate centralised control and decentralised execution of power."
Homi Major in his speech said that who ever controls the air generally controls the space as well. He further said,"The establishment of an Aerospace Command is in emerging stage in India."
Answering a question regarding the preparedness of Air Force against insurgency like naxalism he replied,"There is nothing like readiness with Armed Forces. If the government give us the order then we will do it."
