New Delhi: Three persons have been detained on Wednesday in connection with the serial bomb blasts in Delhi. They have been detained on the basis of sketches of suspected bombers released by Delhi Police on Tuesday and are being interrogated in Janakpuri police station, sources said.

Five serial bomb blasts rocked Delhi on Saturday evening killing at least 30 people and injuring over 100 others. The first blast took place at Gaffer Market in Karol Bagh, followed by two blasts at Barakhamba Road and Central Park in Cannaught Place. The fourth and fifth blasts took place at M block market in Greater Kailash I.

On the basis on descriptions given by eyewitnesses, Delhi Police had released five sketches of three suspects on Tuesday. Terror group Indian Mujahideen had claimed responsibility for the blasts in an e-mail to television channels five minutes before the blasts.
